Grinder was a smaller rolling unit with teeth that gives a more uneven surface. Grind area met requirements. Contractor had to lay all asphalt by hand with compaction roller and excavator. Whacker and Powderpuff also on site to help compact small areas. Pavement fabric used was Trupave brand. Tack oil was spread by hand sprinkling with a brush over surface and brush application on pavement side edges. He said it will be two separate asphalt loads to complete. An eight man crew with one designated as flagged.

06/30/2020ENCROACHMENTDEVELYN SPEKNERPARTIAL APPROVALsprinklers restored6/30/2020 3:53:38 PM turf still remained undone when I left jobsite about 2:30 pm. Sprinklers were restored at 366 Glenbrook as working better than before. Some sprinkler heads were damaged previously and work less effectively, but were not damaged by this work so we left them as is. Sprinklers at 356 Glenbrook were not functioning before work was done. Any new damage to sprinkler lines was repaired; old uncapped lines previously broken prior to arriving onsite were just capped in place to prevent water damage if valves were turned on at the house. Homeowners were aware of damage to lines because they water their lawn with a hose and spraying sprinkler. Turf was not yet restored when I left. Crew was pulling rope through new and existing PGE conduits for their future work.
